Foundation Award in International Trade
The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has a selection of nationally accredited International Trade Courses delivered by the Accredited Chamber Network.
These courses form an Import and Export curriculum, giving international traders the essential skills invaluable to small and large businesses alike.
Candidates achieving Pass or Merit in any of the 11 course topics will receive a certificate in each area. Those who pass any six of the course topics will achieve a nationally recognised Foundation Award in International Trade. The modules include:

Skills Bootcamp in International Trade
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector specific skills.
We have a new cohort starting in January 2026.
The training and support available is aligned with local and national demand for skills, ensuring that people have direct line of sight to a job and support people to get skills for life.
South Ribble – Export Accelerator
Our Export Accelerator Programme offers FREE training, mentoring and consultancy to South Ribble businesses to enable you to hit the ground running on your export journey. Delivered by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s International Trade Team on behalf of South Ribble Borough Council and funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
