The Chamber of Commerce is helping out the high street after launching a brand-new, free, custom-designed programme for retailers across Lancashire which aides them in revolutionising operations and boosting their bottom line.

The Retail Renaissance initiative – in partnership with UK government, Boost and Lancashire County Council – is fully funded and gives the retailer access to premium training at no cost.

It’s open to all high street retail businesses and can help boost their brand online, enhance customer experience, increase sales and open new opportunities for customers and staff.

Having already had a few sessions, the training has helped a number of businesses, including Preston-based Gainsbrough Flooring.

Meena McDonald, from the retail business, said: “Visibility is key when operating a business and this programme is great for any small retailers. They are great at picking up tips and tricks and getting your business more visible.

“There were some really valuable stats at how to get some good reviews and keep your Google presence above competitors and I found the sessions really useful for brand building. I would recommend these sessions to all retailers.”

The Chamber will be hosting a number of Retail Renaissance sessions in the new year and they can be seen below. They are on a number of topics and open to all, and you can mix and match them too, to suit your retail needs:
